Terms and conditions

1. General hotel terms and conditions

By confirming your reservation, you accept our general terms and conditions.

2. Check-in and check-out time

Check-in time is from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. After prior notification, you can also check in later.  Check-out time is until 10:00 AM.

3. Reservation conditions

Reservations for stays at Pira Hotel can be made through online channels or by direct inquiry on the website, via email, or by phone.

In all cases, the guest is required to provide an active email address or other contact information upon making the reservation and authorize us to use it for communication and verification purposes regarding the reservation.

If the user is not reachable by email or phone or provides an incorrect or invalid email address, we reserve the right to cancel such a reservation.

4. Payment and cancellation conditions

Option 1: "FREE cancellation"

Upon check-in at the reception, we will ask for your credit card information, which will serve as a payment guarantee.

The guest can cancel the reservation without any cancellation fees up to 14 days before arrival.

The cancellation must be made in writing.

In case of cancellation within the specified period prior to arrival or in case of a no-show, the first night will be charged. Payment at the hotel (at the reception) can be made by credit card or in cash (EUR only).

Option 2: "NON-REFUNDABLE Reservation"

Reservations without the option of a refund require full prepayment at the time of booking, and subsequent cancellation or modification of the reservation is not possible.

If the credit card details are incorrect or if it is not possible to charge the card for other reasons, RAVE d.o.o. reserves the right to cancel the reservation. If the reservation includes contact details, RAVE d.o.o. will notify the customer and request new credit card information.

If the guest cancels or modifies the reservation, or in the case of a no-show at the hotel, the full amount of the reservation will be charged.

Option 3: "Reservation with DEPOSIT"

RAVE d.o.o. reserves the right to request a deposit payment. If the deposit is paid within the agreed timeframe, the reservation is considered confirmed.

If the guest cancels the reservation in writing within the agreed timeframe, they are entitled to a full refund of the deposit. If the guest cancels the reservation AFTER the cancellation period, RAVE d.o.o. retains the deposited amount. The guest has the right to use the deposited amount for a period of one year for accommodation services in an alternative period.

Option 4: Early Departure

If the guest departs from the hotel without prior notice, RAVE d.o.o. will charge them 50% of the value of each reserved and unused night.

Group reservations of more than three rooms

Special payment and cancellation conditions apply to all reservations of 3 or more rooms.

For reservations made more than 30 days prior to arrival, a mandatory 30% deposit payment is required. The deposited amount is refundable up to 30 days prior to arrival. After that, free cancellation is no longer possible, and the deposited amount becomes non-refundable (cancellation fee). The remaining amount of 70% (or the difference) must be paid 14 days prior to arrival and is fully non-refundable.

For reservations made within 30 days prior to arrival, immediate full prepayment is required, which is non-refundable.

An advance invoice for the prepayment and further information will be sent to the provided email address from the hotel reception (recepcija@pirahotel.si, +386 41 692 331).

Prepayment can be made by bank transfer or credit card. If the provided contact details are not valid or if the credit card is inactive, RAVE d.o.o. reserves the right to cancel the reservation.

5. Right to refuse and modify

We reserve the right to refuse a reservation and, in special circumstances, the right to cancel, adjust, or modify your arrangement.

If we are compelled to cancel, adjust, or modify the reservation, an alternative date will be offered to the guest.

In the event of overbooking, the hotel reserves the right to accommodate the guest either fully or partially in a hotel of the same category, offering similar services. All additional costs of accommodation and transportation between the respective hotels will be borne by RAVE d.o.o..

RAVE d.o.o. shall not be held responsible for any failure to meet its obligations resulting from force majeure. Cases of force majeure and unforeseen circumstances are those typically recognized by legal practice and the court.

6. Tourist tax and registration fee

The accommodation price is increased by the amount of the tourist tax, as determined by the Decree of the Municipality of Postojna, in a single sum.

7. Prices

The accommodation prices include value-added tax (VAT). The price is valid for each individual room/apartment/suite, for the selected number of persons, on the chosen date.

Prices are subject to daily fluctuations based on supply and demand.

The accommodation price does not include beverages, food, and other services.

Special and promotional offers apply if the stay is not shortened.

Discounts cannot be combined.

8. Additional offer

All additional offers are available upon request and subject to availability.

9. Hotel stay rules

In order to ensure a pleasant stay for all guests, a "commitment to tranquility" applies in guest rooms and common areas of PIRA HOTEL. If excessive noise complaints are justified by other guests, the guest causing the noise must immediately and without refund leave the hotel.

Smoking is not allowed indoors at PIRA HOTEL and PIRA Restaurant. In the event of smoking (regardless of substance), a charge of 500 EUR per day will be added to your bill.

We make special efforts to provide our guests with clean rooms. In the event of major stains or damage to our property, you agree to pay a cleaning fee of at least 50 EUR or the full cost of repairing/replacing the damaged equipment.

Additional charges related to the room, apartment, villa, or restaurant can be settled during your stay or upon check-out.

10. Parking

Parking is free for hotel and restaurant guests.

11. Loss and damage of guest property

Unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible for any lost or damaged property or for any injuries sustained by you or anyone in your party during your stay on our premises.

You may keep money and valuable items in the safe provided in your room.

12. Pets

Pets are allowed in the hotel. The cost of stay is 30.00 € per day per dog (except for guide dogs, which stay free of charge). Prior notification is mandatory!

The owner must ensure that the animal has its own bed, a bowl with fresh water, and fresh food in the room. The pet owner must not leave the pet alone in the room.

13. Complaints

If any malfunctions occur in the room, the guest must immediately inform the reception or the chambermaid and allow the maintenance staff to resolve the issue within a reasonable time. If the guest fails to comply, they will not be entitled to a change in the duration of the accommodation or any discounts due to a subpar stay.

14. Access and right of entry to the room

We reserve the right to enter the room at an appropriate time and for justified reasons.

Receptionists, chambermaids, and maintenance staff may enter the room unannounced at any time for justified reasons, especially for urgent maintenance work and inspections.

15. Gift vouchers

A gift voucher can be purchased by an individual or a legal entity. The gift voucher can be paid in cash, by card, or by bank transfer to the company's current account.

Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of issuance. Employees have the option to extend the validity of the gift voucher for an additional 6 months. In exceptional cases, the gift voucher can be extended for an additional 4 months.

Prior reservation of the service is mandatory. When making a reservation, it is necessary to provide the gift voucher number; otherwise, the service cannot be utilized.

If a customer fails to attend the service specified on the gift voucher without canceling the reservation, the gift voucher is considered redeemed. For dining services, the reservation must be canceled at least 24 hours before the scheduled time; otherwise, the gift voucher is considered redeemed. For hotel or campground accommodations, the reservation must be canceled at least 72 hours before arrival.

The gift voucher for the specified service can only be used once.

16. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The symbol, name, and logo are essential elements of the visual identity of RAVE d.o.o.. Their use is only permitted with the owner's consent.
